Frequently Asked Questions of our Online Traffic School

What is a home study traffic school?

Home study on-line traffic school is an option offered by various court systems that meets the requirement in the California Vehicle code to have the traffic citation resolved without your DMV record effected, as long as the program is ordered by the court (California Vehicle Code Section 42007).

I have just been issued a citation, what do I do next?

Your court will send you paperwork. Most courts send you a courtesy notice 2-3 weeks after you receive a ticket. This notice will inform you of the bail amount you will pay, as well as traffic school eligibility. Pay the required bail amount by the payment due date.

What makes this course different from other traffic school courses?

Quick and Easy Traffic School was specially designed to allow our students to easily flow through our course material in a very timely manner while retaining more of the valuable information set forth within the course.

We worked with one of the nation's top corporate trainers to streamline the learning processes while keeping to the strict guidelines set forth by the court system. Implementation of various learning techniques gleaned from over 30 years in the training business makes Quick and Easy Traffic School the nation's newest, most advance traffic learning center with fast and very effective results for our students.

No other course on the market today is designed quite like Quick And Easy Traffic School.

How much is Quick and Easy's traffic course?

The total price is $18.95.

Quick and Easy Traffic School's pricing includes 1 business day certificate processing and shipping via U.S. Postal Service First Class mail (if your court does not accept electronic filing). Your certificate is processed and mailed the same day you pass your final, if you finish the final exam prior to 2:00pm PST. You must allow 3-5 business days for U.S. Postal Service Delivery. Should you decide you would like to have your certificate sent via overnight delivery, there is an additional charge. Some counties have electronic certificate filing with the courts, or require that we fax the certificate to the court. There would be no need for overnight shipping in these counties. (When you select the county and court on your citation, we will let you know your court's requirements on how the certificate will be delivered.)

If you require a duplicate certificate of completion, there is an additional charge of $3.

If you use a notary public to fulfill the identity verification requirement, there is an additional cost which is paid directly to the notary.

If you request a refund before we send your certificate of completion, so long as it's within 30 days from when you enrolled for the course, we will gladly return your payment, less a $2 processing fee. Read about our Money Back Guarantee.

What is identity verification?

When you take an online traffic school, some counties require that you verify your identity to prove that you are both the person who registered for the course and the person taking the course. If this is required by your county, you have the option to satisfy this requirement online, or by using a notary public. You will make this choice during registration. If you choose online identity verification, then you will have to answer a series of questions on information pertinent to you, that only you should know, which is gathered from public data records. If you do not answer the questions correctly, then you must appear before a notary public to verify your identity.

You will receive specific instructions for meeting this requirement when you select the county and court on your citation (before registering for the course), and again at the end of the course, prior to taking the Final Exam, if you have not already been verified online.

How do I know if I need to do identity verification?

To obtain this information, click on "Start The Course" and select the county and courthouse that are on your citation. After making your selection and clicking the 'Continue' button, a page will appear that provides the requirements for your county, explaining whether you need to do identity verification, and the steps involved for both online verification and in-person verification with a notary.

If your county requires ID Verification, you will be able to choose whether you will do online or in-person (notary) verification when you register for the course.

Since I already paid the citation fee and cost of taking traffic school on-line,
why am I paying again?

The various courts charge an additional fee to allow you to attend traffic school and that is separate from Quick and Easy Traffic School's course charge. If you do not pay the fee, the courts will not honor your Certificate of Completion.

How long will the traffic course take?

The courts mandate all online traffic school courses to be 400 minutes in length. Actual time depends on an individual's own reading speed. Our course is self-paced. Many people complete the course in less time. Most complete the course in one sitting, however, you may enter and exit the course at any time and when you return, you will return to where you last left off. We recommend you take your time and absorb all the material. You will be allowed to review all course material while you take the section quiz, and a Study Guide is provided for you at the end of the course. Quick and Easy Traffic School's course has been strategically designed to allow the easiest, quickest flow through the course material with the maximum retention of the material covered.

What does the traffic course include?

The course consists of 5 chapters broken down into 2 or 3 sections each. You simply read through the section, take a 10 question quiz on what you just read, and move to the next section. Once you have completed the 5 chapters, a 25 question Final Exam (50 questions for LA County courts) is administered either online or for those students in counties that require in-person identity verification, the test is printed out. You are given a study guide to print out that you may use during your Final Exam.

Must I complete the course all at one time?

Quick and Easy Traffic School is completely self-paced. The course can be done all in one sitting, during one day or week by week if you like. Just be sure you complete the entire course and final exam a minimum of 7 days before your court due date (completing the course less than 5 days before your court due date requires overnight delivery of the Certificate of Completion).

Can someone else complete the course for me?

Upon registering with Quick and Easy Traffic School, you must accept a user agreement that states you will complete all the course study on your own. And if I do, will I have to pay again to retake the course?

Quick and Easy Traffic School has a Money Back Guarantee - You don't pass, you don't pay! Although it is highly unlikely for Quick and Easy Traffic School students to fail their final exam, there is always the possibility. There is a requirement of 80% correct answers on your final exam in order to receive your Certificate of Completion. You will have the benefit of reviewing all the material presented to you before and during the test. Quick and Easy Traffic School supplies our students with a Study Guide for you to print prior to taking your Final Exam. This Study Guide may be used during your Final Exam.

You only pay for the course once, and you can take the final exam as many times as it takes to pass. However, please note that if you are taking your Final Exam via a proctored site (for identity verification), there is an additional charge by the proctor site each time you return to them to re-take your final exam.

What happens when I complete the course?

Once you have completed the course and passed the Final Exam with a minimum score of 80% accuracy, Quick and Easy Traffic School will process your certificate of completion. What happens after that depends on the county in which you received your ticket.

Electronic Filing

Most of the counties serviced by Quick and Easy Traffic School now have electronic filing of the certificates with the Court. For these counties, your certificate of completion will be electronically filed with the Court upon successful payment and completion of the Quick and Easy Traffic School. You will not be receiving a hard copy of your certificate.

Once your certificate of completion is received by the Court, you will receive an automatic notification from the Court via e-mail at no additional cost.

Because of the electronic filing, when you register for the course, please be sure to select the correct County/Court where you were cited so that your certificate will be routed to the correct court. (Please note: This may not be the county where you live).

Please ensure that all registration information is correct and make any changes PRIOR to completing the final exam. Once certificates of completion are sent to the Court, only the CTSI systems administrator can make changes to the student's certificate information.

Misrouted certificates due to incorrect information from the student are NOT the responsibility of Quick and Easy Traffic School. In addition, double-check the accuracy of all registration information to ensure your certificate can be processed expeditiously. Errors made during registration may cause a delay in the processing of your certificate, which are not the responsibility of Quick and Easy Traffic School or the Court.

Los Angeles County

Los Angeles County mandates that Quick and Easy Traffic School fax the certificate of completion to the Court. You will not be receiving a hard copy of your certificate. You may follow up online at www.lasuperiorcourt.org to be certain the citation was dismissed.

All Other Counties

ALL OTHER COUNTIES REQUIRE THAT THE CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION BE SENT DIRECTLY TO THE STUDENT AND IT IS THE STUDENT'S RESPONSIBILITY TO DELIVER THE COURT PAPERWORK AND THE SIGNED CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION BACK TO THE COURT.

For these counties, Quick and Easy Traffic School will process your certificate of completion within 24 hours of course completion and mail it to you. Certificates are mailed Monday through Friday via U.S. Postal Service First Class mail. Please note this does NOT mean that you will receive your certificate via 1st Class U.S. Postal Service in 24 Hours. If you need your certificate to be sent overnight, then you can opt to pay for overnight delivery.

When you receive your Certificate of Completion, you must sign it and then deliver it to your assigned court, along with any additional paperwork sent by your court. It's that simple.

If you are completing your final exam within 5-7 days before your due date, you might want to consider having the Certificate of Completion send via overnight delivery. You can choose that option at the time you pay for your course.
